Margie Ruth Matthews
Margie Ruth Matthews, 83, died Nov. 18, 2010. She was born Oct. 2, 1927, in San Saba to Eula Lee Hibler and Rufus Welch Taff.
She married Charles Everette Matthews March 26, 1949, in Comanche. She was Baptist.
Her life was spent taking care of family and other people.
Survivors include daughter Ramona Peters and husband Mike of Lone Grove; son Charlie Matthews Jr. of Llano; grandchildren Shenell and Scott Peters, Jaime and Daniel Foster and Christian Matthews; great-grandchildren Clayton, Peyton, Tristan, Sheridan, Avianna, Claceir, Nathalee and Larissa; brother Dean Taff of Mammoth Lake, Calif.; and sisters-in-law Ellie Taff of Oxnard, Calif., and Helen Sibley of Hurst.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and older brother Alfred Taff.
A graveside service was Nov. 21 at Llano City Cemetery with the Rev. Clyde Dodson officiating.
