Talmadge Marrell Pike
Talmadge Marrell Pike, 75, of Burnet died Oct. 25, 2010. He was born to Walter Arnold Pike and Bertha Lee Woodall Sept. 25, 1935, in Fort Jackson, Ala.
He served in the Army in the Korean War. He was married to Mildred Tassin. He was a member of the Order of Eagles, the Veterans of Foreign Wars chapter of Marble Falls and the American Legion.
He played guitar, banjo and sang. Music was his life. He loved fishing and boating.
Survivors include his wife Millie Pike of Burnet; children Diana Hall of Burnet, Nancy Lewis and husband Andy of Buchanan Dam, Michael Quirl and wife Jan of Dripping Springs, and Cassie Quirl of Austin; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and sisters Madeline, Moe and Ann.
He was preceded in death by Amelia Robbie Hughes and Martha Lewis.
A memorial service is 2 p.m. Nov. 13 at the Marble Falls Senior Activity Center, 1200 Seventh St. in Marble Falls.
Interment will be at the Kingsland Cemetery in Kingsland.
