Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ Louetta Turner

Jacqueline “Jackie” Louetta Turner, 80, died Oct. 27, 2010. She was born in Donora, Penn., on Aug. 7, 1930, to Daniel and Pearl Yost.
She married George Dallas Turner Oct. 16, 1953.
She showed strength during her battle with cancer and always had a friendly smile and a contagious sense of humor.
While raising her family, she enjoyed arts and crafts, was a Girl & Boy Scout den mother, led classes in vacation Bible school, consulted with friends and family on Avon products, and was president of the Ladies Lions Club in Franklin.
She was known as “Mamoo” to her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, survivors include brother Daniel Evan Yost; children, Les Turner and wife Eileen of Baltimore, Dana Hunter and husband Joe of Burnet, Lisa Greinert and husband Randy of Round Rock, and Brad Turner and wife Maria of Austin; grandchildren Ashley Box and husband Jeremy, Lindsey Hunter, Courtney Turner, Stefany Turner, Randall Greinert, Nicolas Greinert, Alexander Turner, Cristian Turner and Gabriel Turner; and great-grandchild Rylen Box.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Diane Turner.
A memorial service is 2 p.m. Oct. 30 at Epiphany Episcopal Church of Burnet with the Rev. Ted Hervey officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
