Odell Hopkins
Odell Hopkins, 75, of Bertram died Oct. 24, 2010. He was born March 21, 1935, in Jollyville to Elmer and Jessie Williams Hopkins.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years Theresa Hopkins; sons Allen Hopkins and wife Gaylene of Marble Falls, Ricky Hopkins and wife Sandra of Bertram, and Joe Lewis of Marble Falls; daughters Connie Lott and husband Ronnie of Victoria, Lisa Bell and husband Danny of Bertram, Cricket Lyons and husband Tim of Burnet, Lilly Gattani and husband Eric of Pennsylvania, Peggy Henderson and husband Bill of Granite Shoals, Lil Floyd and husband Charlie of Burnet, and Paula Layton of Horseshoe Bay; sisters Mozell Alcorn and Mildred Guess, both of Burnet, and Ima Hibler of Bertram; 26 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Raynell Hopkins; brothers C.J. and Tommy Hopkins; sister Bert Tatum; daughter-in-law Vonda Lewis; brothers-in-law James Alcorn and Elvie Barrow, James Hibler and J. Guess.
Services are 10 a.m. Oct. 27 at Edgar Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St. in Burnet, (512) 756-4444 with Charles Hopkins officiating.
Interment will follow at Post Mountain Cemetery in Burnet.
Pallbearers include Butch Hopkins, Christopher Hopkins, Buster Hopkins, Leslie Ray, Trapper Lewis and Derek McPherson.
