Philip Norman Thomas, 52, of Marble Falls, died Oct. 8, 2010. He was born June 24, 1958, in Eugene, Ore., to Vernon and Emily (Austin) Thomas.

He was a loving husband, son, brother, father, friend and musician who played bass guitar and drums with the Express Band in Marble Falls and the Second Hand Rose Band in Austin.

Also, he did studio work in Nashville, Tenn.

Survivors include wife Robyn Thomas of Marble Falls; daughter Crystal Hawley and husband Joshua Miller of Cottage Grove, Ore.; brother Jim Thomas and wife Pam of Thurston, Ore.; sister Julie Horn of Eugene, Ore.; stepmother Anita Thomas of McMinnville, Ore.; and other family members and loved ones.

A service is 6 p.m. Oct. 14 Hill Country Fellowship Church, 200 Houston Clinton Drive in Burnet.
