Margaret ‘Margo’ Green, 82, died Oct. 6, 2010, in Horseshoe Bay. She was born April 24, 1928, in Nogales, Ariz., to Lawrence and Lupe (Palomar) George.

She was raised in the Catholic church and after marriage was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a God-loving human to all who knew her.

She married Garlan H. Green of Robert Lee in 1947. They raised their family in small towns across West Texas before moving to Austin in the early 1970s. She lived in Horseshoe Bay since the late 1980s.

In addition to her husband of 63 years, survivors include sons George Green of Horseshoe Bay and Bobby Green of Miami Beach, Fla.; granddaughter Kristina Bjornson of San Diego, Calif.; sister Mary Ritchie and her children Darlene and Rick of McAllen; brother-in-law Bill Green of Tuscola and his extended family; sister-in-law Joyce McBride and her extended family of Kingsland; and her late brother-in-law J.D. Green’s extended family of Granbury.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Nan Green Bjornson; and sister- in-law Wanda Green.

A service was Oct. 9 at the Mausoleum of Horseshoe Bay.
