Charles Benjamin Cleaveland, 61, of Marble Falls died Oct. 11, 2010. Born Nov. 29, 1948, in LaGrange, Ga., he was the son of Charles and Pearlie Mae (Cole) Cleaveland.

He spent most of his life working in the mining industry for TXI and Vulcan Materials.

His dry sense of humor and quick wit will be missed. He lived by the philosophy, "If you’re upright and taking nourishment, it’s a good day."

Survivors include his wife Sandra; son Shane and wife Jamye; grandchildren Cole and Aubrey; mother-in-law Arvie Mapp; brother Walter and wife Cyndi; and sister Gayle.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Oct. 13 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373.

Services will be private.
