Dorothy Mae Rhodes, 90, of Georgetown, died Oct. 3, 2010. She was born June 13, 1920, in Baytown to Alfred H. and Ida Zola Jennings Enderli.

She was raised in Baytown and lived with her first husband, the late Hans Detlef Lionel Iwers, for several years in the Houston area.

She was an avid golfer who enjoyed playing the game with her second husband, the late Dr. William Harvey Rhodes.

She lived in Kingsland until last year.

Survivors include son Gary Iwers and his wife Marsha of Georgetown, and their children Nichole Harvey, and Danielle Dotson and husband Scotty, and three great-grandchildren; daughter Kathy King of Dallas, her children Mecca Robbins and husband Shawn, Amber Ortega, Jared King and Kalli Whitley; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

A memorial service is 2 p.m. Oct. 8  at Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 Interstate 35 North with the Rev. John Alemán officiating.
