Carolyn Sconci Wier, 58, died Oct. 3, 2010, from multiple myeloma cancer. She was born Jan. 12, 1952, in Austin to John Sconci and Margie (Brust) Sconci.

She lived in the Central Texas areas of Austin, Spicewood, Marble Falls and Granite Shoals.

She loved life, family and friends. Her favorite times included working in her garden, riding on the back of a motorcycle, fishing and dancing in the rain.

She always maintained her wit and sense of humor during the good times and the not-so-good times

Survivors include her partner James W. Hilgert; daughters Michelle Lindholm and husband Scooter, Kimberly Wall and husband Willie, and Melanie Sands; grandchildren Rikki Wimberly, Kaycee and Tyler Lindholm, and Ben, Brandon, Sara and Colton Sands; great-grandson Maddox Williams; brothers Bobby Sconci and wife Gladys, John Sconci Jr. and wife Wanda, and Tony Sconci and wife Angel; sister Joan Wier and husband Gary; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and her dog Jaman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Mitchell E. Wier.

A memorial service is 1 p.m. Oct. 10 at Johnson Park, 230 Ave. J. South in Marble Falls.
