Bill Stacy
Bill Stacy, 75, died Sept. 29, 2010. He was born April 2, 1935, in Houston to Oscar and Mary Stacy.
He graduated from the University of Houston and spent most of his career in the oil industry with Gulf Oil and Chevron Chemical. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and committed to Christ.
Survivors include his wife Sue Stacy of Horseshoe Bay; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Karen Stacy of Lufkin and Jim and Melissa Stacy of Corsicana; mother of Houston; brother Alerice Stacy of Centerville; sisters Marilyn Smith and Carolyn Hicks, both of Houston; grandchildren Hannah, Caleb, Jacob, Mary Grace, Clayton and Daniel; and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Virginia Battle Garvin; and his father.
A memorial service is 11 a.m. Oct. 9 at the Church at Horseshoe Bay, 600 Hi Ridge in Horseshoe Bay, with the Rev. Johnny White officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Church at Horseshoe Bay Building Fund or to a charity of choice.
