Richard D. ‘Dick’ Kingsbury

Richard D. “ Dick” Kingsbury, 78, of Marble Falls died Sept. 4, 2010, at home surrounded by his family. He was born Jan. 3, 1932, in Flint, Mich., to Archie and Ruth Heiney Kingsbury.
He was employed as a water-treatment plant operator in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., where he began a lifetime career that took him to Lago Vista, Point Venture and Waterford.
During his career, he made many lifelong friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, building playhouses for kids and getting together with his friends.
He was always there if you needed a hand.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Judy Kingsbury of Marble Falls; children Rick Kingsbury, Steve Kingsbury and wife Lori of Lake Havasu, Tammy Hunt and husband Mike of Jonestown and Scott Kingsbury and wife Deena of Marble Falls; grandchildren Laska Kingsbury, Monica, Michael and Codi Kingsbury, Matthew, Ryan and Sabrina Hunt, Matthew, Nicole, Maddison, Ashley and Brieanna Kingsbury; and great-grandchildren Brendon Hunt and Hayden Teixeira.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Duane Kingsbury.
