Theodore Jerome Jordan

Theodore Jerome Jordan, 86, died Aug. 28, 2010. He was born Aug. 21, 1924, in Houston and was raised in Aransas Pass.
He worked for Baker Oil Tools and traveled the world. He liked Scotland the best. He was in the infantry during World War II and took part in the invasion of Normandy.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bertram.
In 1999, he moved from Houston to the Hill Country to be close to family. At the time of his death, he resided at Country Oaks at Hamilton Creek Assisted Living in Burnet.
Survivors include children Madeline Jordan Lewis and son-in-law Ronnie Lewis of Bertram, David Jordan of Round Mountain and daughter-in-law Sue, and Shirley Jordan Benavides of Port Isabel and son-in-law Felipe Benavides; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; close friends Maxine and Dan Gatlin; and many special friends at Claremont Assisted Living in Marble Falls.
A memorial service is 11 a.m. Sept. 11 at First United Methodist Church, 115 E. North St. in Bertram, with the Rev. Chris Bistline officiating.
