Louis L. Bryant
Louis L. Bryant, 77, died Aug. 12, 2010. He was born June 21, 1933, in Stamford to Amos D. and Ella Mae Bryant.
He graduated from Ball High School in Galveston. He then graduated from The United States Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., in 1954. He joined the Air Force and served as a pilot for 20 years, then flew passenger planes in Killeen until he was offered a job in Saudi Arabia flying for Aramco. He did that for eight years.
He then retired to Burnet.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Barbara Ann Stanley Bryant; children Mary Herron of Missouri, and LuAnn Porter, William Bryant, Phillip Bryant and Richard Bryant, all of Austin; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother Amos A. Bryant of Austin; and nieces and nephews.
He will be cremated.
Memorial services are 3 p.m. Aug. 21 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home chapel, 306 E. Polk St. in Burnet, (512) 756-2222.
