Mildred Dean Goble, 86, of Llano died Aug. 9, 2010. She was born April 9, 1924, in Lampasas to Hettie Merle (Reeves) and Thomas Jefferson Benoist.

She was a homemaker and loved to fish and dance. She moved to the area eight years ago coming from Mathis.

Survivors include daughters Jeanette McPherson and husband Sam of Llano, Glenda  McGlothin of Llano, Mary Cutler and husband Jerry of Hamilton; sons Thomas Allen of Seabrook and Earl Goble of Burnet; sister-in-law Aloha Pittman of Llano; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Earl B. Goble; sister Thelma Moss; brother Kyle Benoist; grandson David Earl Logan; and daughter-in-law Linda Allen.

A visitation is 11 a.m. Aug. 11 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300.

A graveside service is 3 p.m. Aug. 12 at the Kingsland Cemetery with Rev. Jerald Moore officiating.
