Dyann Pool Ketcham Tobey, 66, died July 21, 2010. She was born Oct. 13, 1943, in Eastland County. 

She lived a life of Christian discipleship. She was active in the United Methodist Church, participating in Walk to Emmaus, Chrysalis, Kairos, Epiphany, United Methodist Women and Stephen Ministry.

 

She held leadership positions in the Order of the Eastern Star.

 

She walked by faith as a shining star, representing Christ wherever she went.  Her faith carried her through her 16-month battle with cancer.

 

Survivors include her husband Randall; brother James “Rusty” Pool and wife Jennifer; sister Charlotte Price and husband David; daughter Teresa Bahe and husband Dean; sons Dwayne Thompson and wife Shawn, Stanley Moore and wife Laurie; daughter Sara Taylor; and grandchildren D.J., Dylan, Kourtney, Justin, Seth and Chelsea.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents Reba Norene Wright and James Ed Pool; her brothers David  “Sonny” Pool and Marion “Sandy” Pool; infant son Alton Moore; and grandson Morgan Thompson.

 

A memorial service is 11 a.m. July 31 at First United Methodist Church, 1101 Bluebonnet Drive in Marble Falls.
