Larry Gene Woodyard
Larry Gene Woodyard, 72, of Meadowlakes, died July 8 in Austin at Seton Medical Center. He was born Feb. 12, 1938, in Humble.
Woodyard was an avid reader, as well as a New York Yankees and University of Texas football fan. The Navy veteran grew up in El Campo and operated several businesses over the years.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Gloria Rose; mother-in-law Jennie Weldon; his sister-in law Delores and husband Tom Burrer; sister-in-law Sandy Rodesney; and nieces and nephews Angie and Russ Granger, Julia Burrer and Evan Burrer.
The family thanks Dr. John Dieck and nurse Debbie Hardin at Heart & Vascular Institute of Texas for the care they provided to him.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Marble Falls Public Library or the American Heart Association.
