Gordon Eldo Schulenberg
Gordon Eldo Schulenberg, 79, died June 18, 2010, in Austin. A resident of Kingsland, he was a native of LaCrosse, Wis., born Sept. 16, 1930, to Eldo Martin and Beverly Brabant Schulenberg.
After his schooling, he served in the Marines. Later in life, he was the chief executive officer of a chrome-plating company. He was a man of integrity and great presence who loved his family.
He enjoyed camping, boating in the Highland Lakes and in the San Joaquin Delta of California. He also loved his dogs.
Survivors include his wife Beverly Schulenberg of Kingsland; children Jay and wife Marie Schulenberg of Grants, N.M., Sue and Mike Brown of Concord, Calif., Lynn and Eric Schaal of Spring Branch, and Mary Schulenberg of Kingsland; grandchildren Kristy Schulenberg, Clayton Kann, Kathryn and Tyler Brown, Christopher and wife Britteny Schaal and Lindsey and husband Caleb McElroy; and great-grandchildren Shaylon and Shiyiaah Schulenberg.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
