Neva Adelle ‘MiMi’ Smith

Neva Adelle “Mimi” Smith, 89, of Granite Shoals died May 30, 2010, at her residence. She was born Dec. 9, 1920, in Long Island, Ala., to Cornelius Watkins and Iris Rogers Ward.

Survivors include grandson Albert Smith of Round Rock; and great-grandchildren Corbin D. Smith and Christian Smith, both of Round Rock.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fred T. Smith Jr. in 1985.

A funeral service is 10 a.m. June 7 at the Edgar Funeral Home, 2105 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-5808, with the  Rev. Max Copeland officiating.

Interment follows at 2:30 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
