Doris Carol Dean Edwards

Doris Carol Dean Edwards, 67, of Marble Falls died May 20, 2010. Born Nov. 2, 1942, in Austin, she was the daughter of Carroll and Caroline (Sultemeir) Downey.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and a friend to many. She was a very kind person and loved doing things for others. She also enjoyed her flowers and working out in the yard.

Survivors include daughters Nita Smith of Wichita Falls and Glenda Cornelius of Brownwood; sons Gordon Rhoades of Cedar Park, Andrew Rhoades of Kyle and Roger Rhoades of Big Springs; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brothers Clinton Downey of Colorado Springs, Colo., Carroll Downey  and Larry Roecker, both of Austin, and Wesley Downey of Buda; and other relatives and close friends.

Services will be at a later date.
