Una Vay Bradford, 82, of Holland, Texas, and formerly of Burnet, died May 19, 2010, in Temple. She was born Jan. 13, 1928, in Kamay to Cecil Jefferson Byrd and Ruby Inez (Brown) Byrd.

She and her family were residents of Beeville for almost 20 years, where her husband worked as the fire chief and head of fire safety at Chase Field Naval Air Station. The couple lived on Lake LBJ for several years before moving back to Holland to be with family.

Survivors include her husband Raymond A. Bradford of Holland; daughters Vay Seyfried of Granite Shoals, Sue Richter of Austin and Ann Bradford of Belton;  seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her son Mark Guy Bradford in 1987, as well as three sisters and one brother.

Visitation was held May 21.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. May 22 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 E. Polk St. in Burnet, (512) 756-2222, with the Rev. Barry Drake officiating.

Burial will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park, 4219 Park Road 4 South.
