Virginia Mae Rhoads Eyster
Virginia Mae Rhoads Eyster, 84, of Marble Falls, died the afternoon of March 20, 2010 at her son’s residence in Austin.
She was born June 10, 1925, in Guymon, Okla., to James William and Adda Bethel
Rhoads and was the youngest of nine children. She was a member of the
Beta Sigma Phi sorority and the Howdy Roo Chili Pod.
She is survived by her son Richard Lee Eyster and wife Mary of Austin; grandsons Darrell Wright and fiancée Caddie of Dallas, and David Wright of Austin; along with numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband James F. (Frosty) Eyster in 2002.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. March 26 at Marble Falls City
Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Texas Oncology, Dr. Beth Hellerstadt, Lisa Painter, Dr. Fotini Chalkias, Dr. Paul Wolf and the many friends who helped her; and also extends their thanks to the wonderful caregivers at Hospice Austin.
