Lake Travis hands narrow loss to Marble Falls

LAKE TRAVIS — Following the 6-5 loss to Lake Travis Friday night, the Marble Falls High School softball team struggled to hide disappointment and frustration.

The Lady Mustangs had led for 2 1/2 innings. They forced the Lady Cavs into routine outs and did not have an error in the contest.

“I thought we put the ball in play pretty good,” head coach David Orsag said. “We still have to learn to finish ball games, and we didn’t do it.”

It marked the first time in several years Lake Travis beat Marble Falls (4-18, 0-1 in District 25-4A).
