Lady Ponies keep winning
“This is an awesome group of girls,” coach Karen Naumann said. “They listen very well and are able to make on-the-spot adjustments.”
The Lady Ponies outscored Peterson in each period.
They took a 28-7 lead in the first quarter and scored 15 to Peterson’s 7, 16 to Peterson’s 6 and 14 to Peterson’s 4.
“In the first half, we were able to switch defenses five different times without any obvious confusion,” Naumann said. “I was very proud of how well the girls worked together as a team and how they kept their heads up and looked for their teammates to score. They did a great job on our fastbreak.”
