- A free Boogie at the Bay concert featuring the $2 Bills is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at Quail Point Lodge in Horseshoe Bay.
- The Local Author Book Fair is Thursday, May 8, from 2-4 p.m. at the Marble Falls Public Library. Browse books and visit with authors from several genres.
- Sip & Shop on the Square in downtown Burnet is 4-7 p.m. Thursday, May 8. Includes cocktails/mocktails, treats, raffles, giveaways, and sale events.
- The Burnet County Rodeo is Friday-Saturday, May 9-10, at the Burnet County Fairgrounds and Rodeo Arena in Burnet.
- The annual Big Book Sale at Lakeshore Library in Buchanan Dam is Friday, May 9, from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. All proceeds support the library.
- A presentation on “Great Galaxies and Light Streams” is Friday, May 9, at 2 p.m. at Lakeshore Library in Buchanan Dam.
- The Community 5K Walk/Run for Recovery is Saturday, May 10, starting at 8 a.m. at Harmony Park in downtown Marble Falls. Benefits Open Door Recovery House.
- A Sleep in Heavenly Peace bed build is Saturday, May 10, at 9 a.m. in the parking lot of Lowe’s in Marble Falls. Volunteers are welcome; no skills/tools required.
- A Burnet County 4-H crawfish and sausage sale fundraiser is Saturday, May 10, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at the AgriLife Extension building in Burnet.
- Art Encounters at Museo Benini in Marble Falls featuring Ukrainian artist Serge Mozhnevsky is Sunday, May 11, from 1-4 p.m. Free but requires online reservation.
