Martial arts gym owner arrested on child sexual assault charges

A Marble Falls man was arrested and charged with two counts of sexual assault of a child on Oct. 9. 

Isaac Villela, 48, is accused of multiple assaults against a 17-year-old victim while serving as her instructor at Caged Boxer MMA, a gym he owns in Marble Falls.

The Burnet County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest following a Marble Falls Police  investigation.

Villela was released from the Burnet County Jail on Oct. 13 after posting a $100,000 bond.

The charge of sexual assault of a child carries a sentence of up to 20 years in state prison along with a fine of up to $10,000.
