Enjoy fried catfish in support of the Rotary Club of Marble Falls. The nonprofit’s 74th annual community fish fry and raffle are Saturday, Sept. 30, at Lakeside Pavilion, 307 Buena Vista Drive. Cost is $15 for adults and $10 for kids. To-go orders start at 4:30 p.m.; dine-in at 5 p.m.

Rotarians Russell Sander and Robert Pahmiyer recently visited with KBEY 103.9 FM’s Mac McClennahan on air to promote the club’s annual fundraiser.

“It’s a labor of love for the club back to our community,” Sander told McClennahan.

Money raised from the fish fry helps the organization provide aid, support, and resources to the community via service projects.

Since 2019, the Rotary Club of Marble Falls has made several impactful donations to local nonprofits and charities, including $45,000 for a new walk-in cooler at The Helping Center and over $37,000 for student scholarships.

Raffle tickets are $50 each for a chance to win several items, including a Louis Vuitton handbag, a chartered fishing trip in Galveston with lodging, $1,000 gift certificates to Academy and Blackstone Griddle, and a $500 H-E-B gift card. Guests do not have to be present to win.

“We’ve got lots of great prizes,” Sander said.

The 2 Dollar Bills will entertain the crowd.

Guests can purchase meal tickets in advance online or the day of the fish fry at the door. Tiered sponsorship levels are also available.
