Lhoist North America LLC is requesting two permits from the district, both located at 7829 U.S. 281 South. One permit is for 3.06 acre-feet of annual groundwater use from the Ellenburger-San Saba Aquifer using a 200-gallon-per-minute well for both domestic and industrial use. The other permit is for 10 acre-feet of annual groundwater use from the Ellenburger-San Saba Aquifer using a 30-gpm pump for public water supply and industrial use.

Granite Shoals resident Todd Fox is requesting a permit for 10 acre-feet of annual groundwater use from a local granite aquifer using a well not to exceed a 49-gpm pumping capacity for industrial use.

District General Manager Mitchell Sodek is recommending approval for the permits. The public is welcome to attend and comment during the hearing.
