Democratic women’s group offering three $1,000 scholarships to female students
The Highland Lakes Democratic Women are offering three $1,000 scholarships to area women.
One scholarship will go to a graduating high school senior who will attend a local college or trade school; the other two will be awarded to Highland Lakes women returning to school to complete degree programs.
Applications are due by March 31. The scholarships are sent directly to the schools that the recipients will be attending.
