MARBLE FALLS — A new Bealls store, scheduled to open April 6, will debut in its new location with a number of additional amenities and more space for merchandise, officials said.

Bealls will move across RR 1431 from its current location next to H-E-B to its new address, 1400 RR 1431 West, to make room for construction of a new H-E-B. (READ PREVIOUS STORIES HERE AND HERE)

“With the new (Bealls), it is expanded greatly. It has new touches and elements that give it a homey feel,” Bealls spokeswoman Bria Lundy said. “Our philosophy is we want to bring name brands to the area. We’re going to have a lot of new brands.”

The old store at 1505 RR 1431 West is scheduled to close April 1 so staff can move merchandise to the new location.

The Houston-based Bealls clothing stores feature everything from apparel and shoes to home products and fragrances.

A ribbon-cutting and grand-opening celebration is planned for 9 a.m. Thursday, April 6.

The first 100 customers will receive a free gift and a chance to win a $100 Bealls gift card.

Store officials said they will offer a number of prizes, giveaways, and deals as well through April 8.

“Marble Falls is a community which brings in people from all over,” Lundy said. “We love when there’s opportunities like this to move into a brand-new store in a community that we serve.”
