Glow Ball Scramble to help enlighten community through Literacy Highland Lakes

KINGSLAND — Literacy Highland Lakes is holding its second annual 9-Hole Glow Ball Scramble fundraiser Nov. 9 at Lighthouse Country Club.

The four-person scramble starts at 5:30 p.m. at the course, 118 Club Circle. The cost is $75 and includes carts, glow balls, prizes, a hamburger buffet and a silent auction. Bring a flashlight.

Golfers can form their own teams or be placed on one.

The cost is $15 for non-golfers attending the hamburger buffet and the silent auction.

Proceeds from the event benefit Literacy Highland Lakes programs in the community including the Burnet County ACE program and GED and English as a Second Language classes.
