Author Joe Nick Patoski to discuss ‘outrageous’ Dallas Cowboys at Burnet library program

BURNET — Joe Nick Patoski will discuss his book about the Dallas Cowboys during a Coffee Talks program at the Herman Brown Free Library on May 9.
Refreshments will be served at 1:30 p.m. and the program presented at 2 p.m. in the meeting room at the library, 100 E. Washington.
Patoski will talk about the research he did for his book, “The Dallas Cowboys — The Outrageous History of the Biggest, Loudest, Most Hated, Best Loved Football Team in America.”
The author has written biographies of Willie Nelson, Selena and Stevie Ray Vaughan and has spent 40 years as a journalist. He reported for Texas Monthly for 18 years.
The final talk of the season is June 13 when Jane Myers Perrine speaks about her Butternut Creek romance series that is set in the Hill Country.
