Amy Hallmark Bush, 96, a longtime resident of Llano, Texas, passed away March 14, 2013. She was born Aug. 9, 1916, at Summit Switch in Burnet County, Texas, to Cena Ora (Davis) and Pierson Hallmark.

Amy married Clyde C. Bush on May 8, 1937, in Burnet. He preceded her in death March 11, 1984. She also was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Clydell Bush in 1943; three sisters; and two brothers.

Amy was a member of the Valley Spring Home Demonstration Club and the Llano Church of Christ.

Survivors include her daughters Janell Cowan and husband Calvin of Kingsland and Linda Swenson and husband Robert of Bluffton; son, Tom Bush and wife Louise of Duncanville; brother Bill Hallmark and wife Adeliade of Llano; sister Blanch Mihills and husband Leroy of Fort Worth; brothers-in-law J.D. Wardlow of Rockdale and O.C. Cooper of Fort Worth; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. March 16 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300. A funeral service is 2 p.m. March 17 at the funeral home with Brother Don Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Llano City Cemetery. Pallbearers will include her grandchildren.
