KINGSLAND — Law enforcement authorities are looking for a man who allegedly walked into the American Bank of Texas about 5 p.m Jan. 4 and handed a teller a note demanding money before fleeing the building.
“No weapon was shown,” said Llano County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy John Neff. “He made away with an undetermined amount of cash.”The suspect is described as a man in his early 20s wearing dark jeans and cap. The man is believed to be about 5 feet, 8 inches in height and be slight in build. He fled the bank, located in the 300 block of RR 2900, and was last seen heading toward the H-E-B parking lot nearby.
“We are still investigating it,” Neff said. “We have been getting some tips.”
Neff said he expected to release a composite of the suspect as soon as possible.
