Burnet cross country competes at Vista Ridge
Burnet boys varsity, 11th out of 12 teams
CEDAR PARK — The Bulldogs competed at the Run the Ridge Meet at Cedar Park Vista Ridge High School on Oct. 14. The Lady Dawgs competed in the junior varsity division.
RESULTS: Boys (79 runners) — 27, Humberto Mejia, 17:42; 46, Cutter sims, 18:28; 58, Joe Parker 19:22; 67, Walker Townes 20:10; 74, Aaron Barnes 21:30; 75, Fernando Mejia 21:39. Girls (105 runners) — 5, Kathryn Drake, 13:08; 18, Autumn Freasier 13:54; 42, Kristen Gideon 15:00; 44, Brynika Grady 15:03.
SAY WHAT? “The meet was a backwoods experience because the athletes ran into heavily wooded trails behind the high school which most runners enjoyed because of the shade from the trees,” coach Stuart Dixon said.
