Bertram mayor says weight is lifted since Attorney General closed investigation of city

JARED FIELDS • PICAYUNE STAFF BERTRAM — The Texas Attorney General’s Office has closed a 10-month investigation into the City of Bertram and former Mayor Winnette Morris, according to officials.
