Crews with Pedernales Electric Cooperative hit a Lone Star gas line just after 8 a.m. June 23 in the 1100 block of Northwood Drive while digging a hole to replace a utility pole. Emergency workers evacuated a handful of homes on the west side of the block. By 10:15 a.m.. residents returned to their houses.
