MARBLE FALLS — Police have arrested a Cottonwood Shores teen in connection with two break-ins that occurred during a string of burglaries at local businesses and homes.
Julio Cesar Avila Jr., 18, is charged with two counts of burglary of a building in cases involving break-ins at For Curiosity Sake and Coach Wash.
Avila, who was arrested Nov. 1 by Marble Falls officers, also is charged with possession of marijuana.
As of Nov. 2, he remained in the Burnet County Jail in lieu of a $5,000 bond on each of the burglary charges and $1,500 on the marijuana charge.
A man detained in the case "was found to be in possession of merchandise from For Curiosity Sake," police Capt. Glenn Hanson said. "Plus there is physical evidence that ties him to both that burglary and the Coach Wash burglary."
