BURNET — A 40-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting a woman Thursday after a break-in at her home remains in the Burnet County Jail, officials said.
Johnny Angel Ybarra of Burnet is charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit sexual assault, according to jail records. He was denied bond, officials added Friday.
The case began to unfold after a woman dialed 911 and said a man broke into her home and sexually assaulted her, Police Chief Paul Nelson said in a press release.
When officers searched the house, they found a man suspected of being the attacker.
