Burnet Burnet city officials may spend state refund on new fire station
BURNET —A late-but-still-welcome Christmas gift from a state agency could mean Burnet gets a new fire station, the city manager said Jan. 30.
The City Council may decide to spend a refund of more than $1 million from the Texas Water Development Board on a new fire station near the airport or boost the reserve fund, City Manager David Vaughn.
