BURNET — A 21-year-old man died when his vehicle flipped over on CR 207 Sept. 10, according to the highway patrol.
The dead man was identified as Curtis Duane Mendenhall of Copperas Cove, according to the Department of Public Safety.
He was driving north on CR 207 in a 2010 Jeep Wrangler at 2:30 a.m. when the auto failed to negotiate a curve, investigators said.
The Jeep rolled over, a DPS spokesman said.
The accident occurred about two miles north of the CR 207 and CR 206
intersection in north Burnet County.
A passenger in the vehicle was uninjured, officials said.
Funeral arrangements are pending with Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove.
