BURNET — Setting up a "war room" and using gifted students as tutors are two ways the Burnet Consolidated Independent School District plans to improve sagging accountability ratings, the School Board heard this week.
The board during the Aug. 15 meeting also adopted a $24 million budget for fiscal year 2011-2012, as well as approved a slight property tax increase to pay down debt.
