JOHNSON CITY — Nomination packets are available for three director positions including District 1 — which includes Burnet County — for the Pedernales Electric Cooperative board.

Elections for Districts 1, 6 and 7 are in June.

District 1, represented by Cristi Clement of Meadowlakes, includes Burnet, Lampasas and portions of Travis counties. District 6, represented by Larry Landaker of Wimberley, includes Blanco, Comal and portions of Hays counties. District 7, represented by Patrick Cox of Wimberley, includes Caldwell, Hays and portions of Travis counties. 

The packets can be found starting Jan. 18 at local PEC offices including Bertram, Johnson City and Marble Falls. 

The deadline is 5 p.m. April 9. Candidates must submit the forms as well as 100 verifiable member signatures from the district where the election is taking place. 

Candidate forums are scheduled for May 3, 15 and 16. Members will receive ballots by May 9, which can be mailed in by June 15 or presented in person at the annual meeting for cooperative members on June 23 in Kyle.
