OBITUARY: Dorine Inez Clark, 94, of Mahomet dies July 14, 2014
Dorine Inez Clark of Mahomet, Texas, passed away July 14, 2014, at the age of 94. She was born Feb. 12, 1920, in her home in Lincoln County in Colorado to Dave and Della Hawkins.
Before becoming a wife and a mother, she was a switchboard operator in Andice, Texas, until she married Alvin Allen Clark on Oct. 15, 1949. They lived on the home place in Mahomet, where they raised their two sons, Allen and Craig.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; brother, David Carroll Hawkins; and sister, Wanda Hawkins Farr.
Dorine is survived by her sons, Allen Clark and Craig Clark and wife Renee, as well as three grandchildren, Kristin Clark, Lauren Clark and John Clark.
A funeral service was July 17 at Mahomet Christian Church with burial at Mahomet Cemetery.
