Tourney fundraiser Nov. 2 helps Marble Falls softball

MARBLE FALLS — A co-ed softball tournament fundraiser benefitting the Marble Falls High School softball team is Nov. 2 at Johnson Park, 220 S. Ave. J in Marble Falls.
The tournament is organized by Cindy Schoch and Lisa Atkinson, the softball representatives of the Marble Falls Athletic Booster Club.
They chose a softball tournament because of the large number of participating teams, Atkinson said.
“I hope we can have a great turnout, especially it being for the girls softball team,” she said.
They want at least 10 teams in the double-elimination tournament. The entry fee is $200.
